StitchLounge.Scot is my sewing room, and a classroom. I want it to be a gathering place for people who sew, and who want to learn to sew.
I offer Sewing Survival Skills and Absolute Beginner Sewing Workshops, and lessons in Patchwork & Quilting, Bag Making and Garment Sewing. I also teach kids to sew! Whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced stitcher, there’s a session to suit you.
StitchLounge’s vibe is “Social Sewing”, it’s a place to work at your own pace, on the projects of your choice, while enjoying the company of others who love to sew. Book into a Sewing Lab session to see what it’s all about. Your first hour is FREE!
My teaching philosophy is project based, we will focus on enjoying the process and having something to show for your efforts. My goal is to foster your creativity through hands-on learning.
I have the best memories of learning to make dresses with you! You helped me make dresses for my mum and niece and they both wore the dresses too! You are such a lovely person but with such eye for quality and details making sure the end result was optimum. Anyone that will sign up, will leave with a big smile.
Stitch Lounge was my weekly refuge from the world! Having such a knowledgeable, kind, and patient teacher and lovely people around with the same interests made for wonderful evenings I will remember forever.
After little time, I was part of the pack, made some quilts, improved a lot, but best of all, I made good friends for life.
